Blog Post #2: My Meal
Since I have a one-month old newborn, it has been hard trying to make sure I have full meals rather than just snacks throughout the day. So, when I can I take advantage of my free time and make myself a quick breakfast. I normally make the same breakfast, which consists of 2-3 eggs scrambled, turkey sausage patties or links, grits, strawberry banana yogurt with some crushed granola, finishing it off with a glass of orange juice. Although this may not seem quick, it is for me. It's a simple breakfast that I am able to whip up in the mornings while my daughter sleeps. I sometimes add cheese to my eggs, and on the weekends when I want a larger breakfast, I make pancakes or french toast.
